Noveleta’s local government, led by Mayor Dino Reyes Chua, will launch the “Doc to Doors” program with the help of the town’s Municipal Health Unit.
The MHU is set up to do house-to-house with doctors in 16 barangays of Noveleta to facilitate the medical needs of every citizen, Chua said. Free medicines will also be given to residents.
The mayor wants to help more sick people “who are struggling to get to our MHU in the municipality for free check-ups and medical attention,” he said.
“Our government is bringing the medical service to every citizen so no one can get sick of going out of the house for treatment,” Chua added.
The town has 10 barangay health centers apart from the MHU at the municipal hall.
