The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) inaugurated and handed over three improved and renovated infrastructure projects to the Pateros municipal government.
These projects include the Pateros Town Plaza, the Municipal Hall Grounds, and the Multi-Purpose Hall at Pateros Elementary School.
MMDA chairman Don Artes said the social development project aligns with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s governance agenda, which focuses on sustainably improving the well-being of individuals, families, groups, communities, and society as a whole, along with enhancing critical infrastructure.
He said the improvements encourage social interactions between residents and municipal employees while also creating a safe and pleasant environment for students at the school.
“Through this rehabilitation, we aim to restore the integrity of these structures and establish a solid foundation for the residents of Pateros,” Artes said. Pateros Mayor Ike Ponce expressed his gratitude to the MMDA for its invaluable support and ongoing efforts to provide essential public services.
