Four buildings with 7,200 residential units in Davao City are now ready for occupancy, Malacañang said on Friday.
“In Davao City, 72 five-story buildings will be available. Four of them are complete and ready for turn-over while the rest are under construction,” Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro said in a press briefing.
Castro said families living near danger zones and those affected by ongoing government infrastructure projects in Davao City will benefit from the socialized housing program.
“The Marcos administration’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pamilyang Pilipino or 4PH program will continue to provide proper and affordable housing to Filipinos,” she said.
The 4PH Program flagship housing initiative of the administration offers various subsidies to reduce monthly amortizations of the beneficiaries.
The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development said it is hastening the construction of the socialized condominium housing project in Davao City.
The People’s Ville I, II, III Condominium Project implemented by the Social Housing Finance Corporation is located in Calinan town.
