GENERAL TRIAS — Cavite police reported that they found an alleged murder victim at Sitio Bagong Silang Cybergreen Extension, Barangay Santiago here.
Provincial Police Office of Cavite under Provincial Director Colonel Dwight Alegre identified the victim as alias “Vanessa,” female, 22 years old, with a live-in partner and resident of Brgy Santiago, Gen. Trias City, Cavite.
Police also identified the alleged suspects as alias “Nino” and alias “Muslim” both male, of legal age, and residents of Brgy Santiago, Gen. Trias City, Cavite.
Initial investigation revealed that suspects visited the victim on her nipa hut. After an hour several gunshots were heard and afterward, the lifeless body of the victim was discovered at the irrigation canal nearby.
According to the investigation, the case might be related to an illegal drug transaction and illicit affair. Cavite police are now in hot pursuit and conducting a continuous follow-up for possible suspects and backtracking of CCTV in the area.
