Two individuals, including a minor, were apprehended Saturday morning over alleged violations of anti-drug laws during a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Barangay San Isidro, Parañaque City.
Officers from the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit executed the raid at around 4:00 AM on July 6, 2024. The operation led to the apprehension of “John,” a 15-year-old child in conflict with law, along with two other high value suspects identified as Mark, 26 and Raymond, 42.
Seized from the suspects were sachets of heat-sealed transparent white crystalline substance, suspected to be ‘shabu’ (methamphetamine hydrochloride), a P500-bill used as buy-bust money, another P500-bill, a P1,000-bill and a black pouch.
The confiscated substances, weighing approximately 50 grams with an estimated street value of ₱340,000, will be subjected to further qualitative and quantitative analysis by the PNP Southern Police District Forensic Unit (SPDFU).
The suspects are currently detained at the Parañaque City Police Station pending further investigation and appropriate complaints.
