Bureau of Immigration agents arrested two Nigerians wanted for illegal drugs and a Taiwanese fugitive in separate operations in Cavite.
The two Nigerians, identified as John Chukwuemeka Enuka, 41, and Ugochukwu Christopher Nwabufo, 31, were arrested inside a mall in a buy-bust operation.
Agents confiscated a large stash of marijuana and heroin with a street value of approximately P8 million from the two suspects.
The BI said Nwabufo arrived in the Philippines in 2022 and has already overstayed his visa while Enuka failed to present his documentation.
Immigration agents also arrested a Taiwanese national, identified as Chen Kai-Wun, in General Trias.
He was tagged as a fugitive from justice by the Taiwanese government and is considered an undesirable alien.
He is said to be a leader of a notorious Taiwanese syndicate involved in arms trafficking.
