Ilagan, Isabela—PBGEN Percival Antolin Rumbaoa, Regional Director, Police Regional Office O2 (PRO2) in a ceremony handover the mobility and firearms, the blessing and inauguration of the new IPPO Command Center and Powerhouse at Camp Lt. Rosauro Toda Jr. yesterday (March 29).
PBGen. Rumbaoa lauded the Police Isabela Provincial Police Office led by PCOL Julio R. Go, the Provincial Director for the efficient conduct in the series and various police operations across the province.
His first command tour featured the blessing and opening of the new IPPO Command Center and Powerhouse. As a central monitoring facility for the undertakings on the ground, the command center is furnished with a touchscreen LED Wall TV and PC, server, CCTV, cameras, microphones, and speakers. It also has a radio room. Also, it will be utilized as a mirror for seeing all CCTV cameras, a digital mobile radio system with GPS that can find all radios, a digital radio in PNP patrol cars, and a monitoring device for weather forecasts, and international and local news.
Meanwhile, Rev. Father Amadeo L. Vinasoy of the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel officiated the ceremonial handover of the keys to two patrol cars to the Gamu and Maconacon police stations, the 23 Basic Assault Riffle Galil, the 12 Tactical Vest Level IIIA to Ilagan CPS, San Mariano, San Guillermo and Echague, 2 Light Machine Gun 5.56 Negev and the 10 Kevlar to 1st and 2nd IPMFC.
Following the display of confiscated, captured, deposited, and surrendered firearms, PBGEN Rumbaoa was interviewed by various media figures.
