In a span of six months, the City Government of Caloocan, led by Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan  helped a total of 588 individuals to recover from drug abuse from July to December 2022, through its treatment and care services or community-based rehabilitation program.

Mayor Along commended the individuals who successfully completed their rehabilitation program. He also praised their perseverance to change for the better and wished them to use their second chance in life significantly.

According to CADAO Officer-in-charge, Mr. Wilmilson Amoyo, they will do their best to help identify users and help them recover through the rehabilitation program. He likewise mentioned that CADAO also conducts trainings to increase the knowledge and abilities of the clients under the said program ensuring that they are ready and has the capacity to earn a living.

Furthermore, according to the local chief executive, another batch will undergo its program this year to help them recover and have a fresh start. He also declared that the city government will not waver in its efforts and will strive to improve their services.
