Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, through the Cooperative Development and Coordinating Office, recognized outstanding cooperative organizations in the city through its Galing Koop program on Monday, October 24, at Bulwagang Katipunan, Caloocan City Hall-South.
The said awards recognize membership size, financial performance, social development contribution and appreciation for those who participated in the recently held cooperative bazaar.
“Congratulations po sa mga kooperatiba na pinarangalan sa Galing Koop awarding ceremony ng Cooperative Development and Coordinating Office. Malaking bahagi po kayo ng ating tuloy-tuloy na pagbangon. Kinikilala po natin ang inyong patuloy na pagsisikap para sa inyong organisasyon,” the local chief executive said.
He likewise assured them that the city government shall continue to support their programs and activities geared towards community development.
“Ipagpatuloy niyo po ang inyong mga programa para sa inyong sektor at mga miyembro. Palagi po kaming nakasuporta sa inyo sa pamahalaang lungsod,” Mayor Along said.
Among the said awardees were Community Water Service Cooperative of Northville 2B-Phase 2, Novaliches Development Cooperative (NOVADECI)-Camarin, Sta. Quiteria Multi-purpose Cooperative and UE Caloocan Multi-purpose Cooperative.
