Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan expressed his appreciation and lauded the Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) for apprehending 48 individuals with warrants of arrest on various cases on Tuesday, August 30.
“Nagpapasalamat tayo sa ating kapulisan sa tuloy-tuloy niyong mga operasyon kontra droga at kriminalidad. Sana’y magsilbing babala ito sa mga masasamang-loob na hindi kayo sasantuhin sa Caloocan,” the Mayor stated.
Likewise, he expressed his gratitude to CCPS for ensuring that there is police visibility in the city’s major roads and public places.
“Gayundin po sa pagtitiyak na mayroong police visibility sa mga pampublikong lugar sa lungsod, salamat po sa inyong serbisyo para sa ikapapanatag ng ating mga kababayan,” he said.
According to CCPS Chief PCol. Samuel Mina, the said sting was in line with the Mayor’s intent to “clear” the list of wanted individuals in the Caloocan.
“Ang direktiba sa atin noong inagurasyon ni Mayor Along, linisin ang listahan ng mga most wanted sa lungsod. Kaya’t sinisikap ng Caloocan City Police na makipag-ugnayan sa iba’t ibang ahensya upang arestuhin ang ating mga public enemies,” PCol. Mina said.
As stated in the spot report from CCPS, the said suspects face allegations on heinous crimes including frustrated homicide, robbery and physical injury.
The said operations were conducted by CCPS’ Warrant Section headed by PMaj. Jeraldson Rivera and Intel Section headed by PMaj. John Chua.
