Incumbent politicians in Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela – the so-called Camanava area in Metro Manila – appear as the “top choices” during the May 9, 2022 elections, based on an election survey released rcently.
These are outgoing Rep. Edgar Erice as the “most preferred Caloocan mayor” over Along Malapitan, garnering 2.3k “heart” reacts and 68 percent support against 1.1k “likes” for Malapitan who earned 32 percent support.
On the other hand former Malabon Councilor Enzo Oreta obtained an overwhelming support for Malabon mayor with 77 percent; Jeannie Sandoval was a poor second with only 23 percent support,
Oreta also amassed 3.2k “likes” while Sandoval had 948 “wow” reacts.
In the Navotas survey, Vice Mayor RC Cruz got 55 percent of support while John Rey Tiangco obtained 45 percent. Cruz also had more than 21k “likes” while Tiangco posted 17k ‘haha’ reacts.
The online survey – Halalan 2022: Sino ang Mayor mo? Camanava News Survey – also indicated that respondents would choose Valenzuela Rep. Wes Gatchalian as Valenzuela mayor. He will face Bombit Bernardo who got 39 percent.
Gatchalian had 844 “care” reacts while Bernardo had 539 “likes” reactions.
The online survey was held from December 30, 2021 to January 19 but did not say how many respondents participated in the survey, neither the margin of error.
