Health Secretary Francisco Duque has praised Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso for his “innovative approach” in Manila City to fight against Covid-19, adding that Moreno has set high standards in leadership designed to address the public health crisis.

Moreno expressed his gratitude to Sec. Duque and the Duterte administration for providing vaccine supplies that helped Manila to extend its immunization drive to non-Manila residents.

Meanwhile, the 47-year-old presidential aspirant happily announced the seven participating drugstores such as Mercury Drug, Watsons, Rose Pharmacy, Southstar Drug, Generics, Healthway and QualiMed, in the Department of Health’s “Resbakuna sa Botika” program.

This is good and convenient for them to get boosted and hopefully, mas marami pa ang maenggayong magpabakuna,” Moreno said.

Each of the seven participating drugstores will be provided with an initial 500 doses of Covid-19 vaccines per week or a total of 3,500 doses. Those who want to avail of the booster shots via these participating outlets have to register on the drug stores’ websites.

DOH also plans to expand the “Resbakuna sa mga Botika” outside Metro Manila.
