Donations were formally accepted by City Administrator Oliver Hernandez from INC Caloocan-Metro Manila North District Administrator Bro. Ariel Barzaga on Wednesday at the Caloocan Sports Complex.

"Once again, we thank the entire Iglesia ni Cristo under the leadership of our dear Ka Eduardo V. Manalo. We can feel your love for the people of Caloocan, even more so in this time of pandemic. It has always been proven that our brothers and sisters from INC are always ready to help our constituents," said Malapitan.

According to the mayor, the rice will help in the continued distribution of food packs to families in the city, especially in areas that are subjected to lockdown.

Last October, Iglesia ni Cristo also sent a donation of 5,000 food packs to Caloocan City. Food packs are distributed by the City Government to solo parents and persons with disabilities.
