Project developer Cathay Land is building its latest mixed-use residential project, Ananda Square, at Alabang-Zapote Road. Cathay Land President Jeffrey Ng said the soon-to-be shorter travel time via the Skyway and the LRT-1 Extension for those who work in Makati and Entertainment City, positions Ananda Square as a perfect base. Now at the pre-selling stage, Ananda Square is set for turnover in 2023, and will be ready once industrial locators have started operating, and their executives and senior staff have begun looking for properties to rent, or buy near their workplace.The first of Ananda Square’s four towers is a 20-storey mixed-use building. Ananda Square will total about 700 units, mainly studio and 1-bedroom suites. Only 40 commercial units are planned for development.A 24-sq.m. studio unit at Ananda Square starts at P2.8 Million; a 32.63-sq.m. 1-bedroom unit goes for up to P3.2 Million. Bigger spaces are available at the two penthouse floors where buyers have option to combine adjacent units.
