Converge ICT Solutions Inc. and real estate developer Pro-Friends recently signed a memorandum of agreement that will allow the fixed broadband service provider to connect various residential projects of the property developer in Cavite.
“Our agreement with Pro-Friends will allow us to initially provide for the more than 20,000 households in Lancaster New City access to high speed, but still affordable, internet connection,” said Jesus Romero, chief operating officer of Converge.
Pro-Friends’ developments in Cavite host more than 50,000 households. Converge aims to connect around 15 million households by 2025, around 55% of the projected number of Filipino households by that time.
The company has set aside more than PHP30 billion to expand its broadband network nationwide.
