The Design Center of the Philippines (DCP) recently kicked off the 9th edition of Design Week Philippines, “a creative journey” which involved a series of provocative workshops, such as architectural and interior design concepts, photography, and an outdoor film screening at the Creative Environment in Intramuros.

Design Week Philippines was basically a  nine-day celebration of design and creativity through a line-up of summer activities geared towards gathering creative people, and engaging them to collaborate and network.

“Changemakers from various creative fields such as communication design, architecture, fashion, and performance arts sat down (and walked) with participants to share their respective passions.

These included Arts Serrano of One/Zero Design Co.; Len Cabili of Filip+Inna; Ligaya Gasataya of ManilaForKids; Jodee Aguillon of Pineapple Lab; and Dan Matutina of Plus63 Design Co. Their stories of how they struggled with failures and eventually gained triumphs inspired aspiring designers, artists, and creative minds who flocked to Casa Blanca, Plaza San Luis Complex in Intramuros, Manila.
