Benguet farmers have a reason to be happy as wholesale prices of cabbage at the Benguet Agri Pinoy Trading Center now fetch 100 pesos per kilo at wholesale from 50 pesos the past weeks. BAPTC Head of Operations Violeta Salda says supply is low and demand is high as the last crop for 2020 has been harvested and the new crop season for 2021 has just started in vegetable-producing areas of Benguet.
