Bless the bikers

Lorna A. Paderon, Mall Manager of SM City San Mateo, hands out one of a thousand ‘Share the Road’ string bags with reflectors to bikers passing the mall in Rizal on Saturday. It was part of the SM Cares launch of its Bike Friendly Campaign, following the success of the #BikeFriendlyMOA kick-off in September. The scene was repeated at SM City Marikina, as a priest sprinkles holy water on bikers (inset) who rely on the two-wheeled vehicles amid the lack of public transportation during the coronavirus pandemic.
