Eduardo Francisco, the president of BDO Capital & Investment Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of BDO Unibank Inc., is awarded by the Hong Kong-based publication Alpha Southeast Asia with an achievement award for his contribution to the local capital market during the 15th Annual Best Deal & Solution Awards 2021. Francisco is the first Filipino recipient and only the third awardee in 15 years. He succeeds Dato’ Lee Kok Kwan, former deputy chief executive officer of CIMB Group and Seohan Soo, former CEO of AmInvestment Bank BHD. Alpha Southeast Asia cited Francisco’s noteworthy career that has already spanned for decades. During the 10-year period between the Asian financial crisis in 1998 and the global credit crisis in 2008, BDO Capital helped raise $22 billion in equity offerings and debt issues for both government and private institutions.
