Valor Awardee Maj. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana (right) formally assumes office as the new Commander of the Western Mindanao Command at Camp Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City Friday. Former WesMinCom Commander Lt. Gen. Arnel dela Vega (left), opted to have his early retirement, nine months shy of his official retirement date, to pave the way to an equally competent junior officer. The turnover ceremony was presided by AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Benjamin Madrigal, a fellow mistah of Dela Vega at the Philippine Military Academy class of 1985.
