A historic event has been added an important footnote in the journals of Maguindanao’s five biggest ancestral clans namely Ampatuan, Mangudadatu, Sinsuat, Midtimbang and Mastura as they gathered together for a thanksgiving luncheon or Kanduli in Maguindanao tradition at the Sultan Kudarat Municipal Hall on April 1. After almost a century of family feuds, political rivalries, land conflicts and settle family feud (Rido), the said clans show to the world that peace is possible when everyone will partake in order to achieve it. This is a momentous milestone right after the newly inaugurated Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao government moves forward for the betterment of Maguindanao people and the whole of Muslim communities in Mindanao.
