Urban farming forum

To improve the earning capacity of farming communities, Senator Cynthia A. Villar encourages locals to engage in urban farming. The chairman of the Senate agriculture and food committee says this would allow families to reduce expenses and eat nutritious foods. Villar led the launching of the community-based Urban Gardening on Vegetables and Herbs Program by East West Seeds at the Villar SIPAG Farm School in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
