Graduation speech

Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez (left) has announced that his administration is finding ways to provide adequate scholarship and financial assistance to poor but deserving students, after learning that only half of the city’s elementary graduates were able to finish high school in past school years. In his recent graduation speech, Olivarez asked the city council to pass an ordinance expanding the cash allowance among high school students to cover their various school expenses and full tuition subsidy.
