Ambassadors in Marawi

The local community welcomes members of the diplomatic corps to the Philippine Army Bahay Pag-asa Phase 2 Housing Project in Brgy. Mipaga, Marawi City. Ambassadors Kok Li Peng of Singapore, Aruni Ranaraja of Sri Lanka, Igor Anatolyevich Khovaev of Russia, Jaideep Mazumdar of India, Ly Quoc Tuanm of Vietnam, Aman Rashid of Pakistan, and Phoxay Khaykhamphithoune of Laos visited the one-hectare Immediate Shelter and Accommodation housing complex. They were accompanied by Thai Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Urawadee Sriphiromya, who represented Ambassador Thanatip Upatising. With the diplomats are the people behind the project: Maj. Gen Roseller Murillo, commander of the Armed Forces’ 1st Infantry (Tabak) Division; Lt. Gen. Rolando Joselito D. Bautista, Commanding General of the Philippine Army; Isa Suntay and Isabel Cojuangco-Suntay, co-founder of the Tarlac Heritage Foundation.
