The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines recently unveiled the 'all-gender' toilet at the CAAP Central office, which it will also install in the airports of Busuanga, Butuan, Calbayog, Cauyan, Dipolog, Legaspi, Masbate, Naga, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa and Tuguegarao by the first quarter of 2018. The all-gender toilets is part of CAAP's gender awareness and sensitivity campaign nationwide as required by Republic Act 9710, the Magna Carta of Women, and Executive Order 273 or the Philippine Plan for Gender Responsive Development, which mandates the implementation of gender and development accords with constitutionally-guaranteed human rights.
