Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala (left) is guest of honor during the launching of the Benguet Agri-pinoy Trading Post in La Trinidad, a P40-million facility. In the same venue, he introduced a Filipino invention of a washing machine to be used by farmers in washing root crops before being shipped to retail outlets nationwide. The washing machine was an invention of engineer Donald Mateo of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
