Mohamed Al Hammadi, chairman and CEO of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corp. (ENEC) paid a courtesy call on President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. who expressed optimism about a potential partnership to explore nuclear energy for power generation in the Philippines. The meeting follows a June 2024 visit to the UAE by a delegation led by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, where discussions focused on revitalizing the Philippine nuclear energy program.
