Education is for everybody, including those behind bars

Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), traditionally called prisoners or inmates, attend an orientation forum for the first Senior High School Program of the Manila City Jail (MCJ) in Sta. Cruz, Manila. On Friday, 233 PDLs completed their elementary and K12 education for the school year 2021-2022 under the MCJ’s alternative learning system.
