New CCP Building

The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) formally opens the Tanghalang Ignacio B. Gimenez, also called the new CCP Black Box Theater, built at the corner of Jalandoni and Sotto Streets within the CCP Complex in Pasay City. The event also marks the CCP’s 53rd founding anniversary. Leading the unveiling of the new buildng’s logo are CCP chairman Jaime C. Laya, CCP president Margie Moran-Floirendo, Presidential sister Irene Marcos-Araneta, and art patron and businessman Ignacio B. Gimenez.
