WB-funded vaccines

A vaccine receiver gives a thumbs up while receiving a jab of a World Bank-funded COVID-19 dose at a mall theater in Cavite province. The World Bank supports the country’s program to purchase and distribute COVID-19 vaccines, strengthen the country’s health systems, and overcome the impact of the pandemic, especially on the poor and the most vulnerable. About 4.73 million doses of vaccines out of 13 million procured by the country under the $500-million COVID-19 Emergency Response Project Additional Financing have arrived in the country.
