Devotees, many of them not wearing face shields, prepare to enter the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, Manila during Friday’s mass. The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has recommended to President Duterte the mandatory use of face shields in enclosed and indoor spaces such as hospitals, schools, workplaces, and commercial establishments.
