Hidden ‘shabu’

Customs officials at the Port of Clark show a reading from the scanner that revealed the presence of methamphetamine or ‘shabu’ inside an air fryer imported from Sha Alam, Malaysia. The illegal drug was concealed in two plastic packs weighing 1,000 grams total with an estimated value of P6.8 million. Customs teams then arrested the package’s claimant in Cebu City. BOC Photo
