Red surrender

PBGEN Manuel M Abu, Acting Director of the Integrated Police Operations-Southern Luzon, receives a rifle from a former New People’s Army rebel, one of 75 who have surrendered to the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC) 4A. Abu represented PNP Chief General Debold Sinas, as Calabarzon Police Regional Director PBGEN Felipe R Natividad (below) lauded the communist rebels for returning to the fold of the law.
