Safe and sound

Like a troika of  trumpet musicians, three  children blow colorful horns in a barangay Kaligayahan in  Novaliches, Quezon City on Thursday (Dec. 31, 2020, opting to make some noise safe and sound, without exploding pollutant firecrackers  on New Year’s eve. While trumpets are an alternative for firecrackers in celebrating the New Year, the Department of Health discourages its use to prevent the possible transmission of Covid-19. Oliver Marquez
