Starboard Foundation Inc. Chief Executive Officer Manuel Gorobat Jr. leads the opening of the first ‘Barter Store and Recycling Eco-Hub’ in Mabini, Batangas. Other attendees were Municipal Administrator Jinky Luisto and Barangay Captain Arnel Matuloy. The “May Balik sa Plastic” hub aims to give grocery items to their constituents, fisherman in exchange for plastic waste that will be recycled and turned into hollow blocks brick. The first Eco-Hub was put up in Barangay Talaga East.
