Despite the African swine fever that has affected the hog industry in the country, the Hotels and Restaurant Association of Baguio City created a record feat with the launching of the longest longganisa at 7.8 kilometers. The longganisa, created by 1,400 culinary students, consisted of 11,910 dozens of sausages made out from 3,633 kilos of lean pork.
