Spared from tree cutting

One of five narra trees lining the road at Sitio Makipot, Barangay Manoc-manoc which DENR Secretary Roy A. Cimatu ordered protected from the road widening project that would ease traffic flow in Boracay. According to locals, all the five narra trees were planted in the ‘60s.
