Baseco housewives

Photo shows (from left) Senate Committee on Environment and Natural Resources chairman, Senator Cynthia Villar as she joins housewives of Baseco in weaving handbags made out of foil sachets at the Villar SIPAG training center after she together with officials from the DoH, DSWD, DENR, signed a memorandum of agreement for Zero Open Defecation Project in Baseco in  Tondo, Manila. The project aims to establish a communal septic tank and subsequently provide 100 toilet bowls initially. The first 100 recipients-beneficiaries are those residing in Block 1, Gasangan which is situated near the shore.
