"‘For a full 24 hours, I had to think critically,’ one woman said."

With April Fools’ Day behind us, we can now return to believing everything that politicians, reporters, and social media sites tell us.

When the day of jokes and pranks arrived, Filipinos were ready to question everything politicians said. We were ready to be skeptical of things we saw in the news. People even took a good, hard look at things on the Internet and asked themselves if they were true before they believed them. But now that April Fools’ Day is over, the nation is once again embracing its favorite pastime of falling for absolutely everything from all of these sources.

“I’m glad I can believe everything politicians, the media, and people on the Internet tell me again,” said one woman in Quezon City. “For a full 24 hours, I had to think critically. I’m really happy that’s all behind us now.”

“My chosen political candidates would never lie to me now that April Fools’ Day is done,” said another man in Makati. “And I’ll swallow every word my favorite news station and paper have to say about them.”

No matter how outlandish a lie propagated by politicians, spread by the media, and confirmed by the Internet appeared to be, we would trip over ourselves to be the first ones to fall for it.

Their Spring Package is available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting at only Php 6,120++.

A five-star luxury serviced residence isn’t complete without excellent service and attention to detail. The Alpha Suites’ Acting GM, Jon Joven, and his staff, have continuously exceeded guests’ expectations, proven by exceptionally high ratings on TripAdvisor and Booking.com.

Jon is also popularly known as the “Prince of Broadway” and has played the roles of Thuy in the German staging of “Miss Saigon,” and Joseph in “Song of Joseph,” in New York. He was recently awarded by ALIW Awards as Best Classical Performer of the Year 2018.

Despite Jon’s busy schedule, he’s still very active in the music industry and finds time to perform and entertain guests at The Balesin Island Club, The City Club, Top of the Alpha, and other events.
