ManageEngine, a provider of enterprise IT management solutions, has reinforced its commitment to the ASEAN region, with the Philippines poised to become a key market. The company, which has served over 200,000 clients globally, aims to accelerate its presence with cutting-edge IT and cybersecurity solutions tailored to the country’s evolving digital needs.
Arun Kumar, Regional Director of ManageEngine, introduced the company’s diverse offerings at a recent event held at Makati Shangri-La. “Our goal is to support digital enterprises, particularly as the world shifts towards a cloud-first, multi-device environment,” Kumar stated.
In the Philippines, ManageEngine’s portfolio has attracted over 1,000 clients across sectors like government, finance, healthcare, education, and BPO. ManageEngine’s cybersecurity products—such as endpoint security, identity access management, and log management—address increasingly sophisticated threats while ensuring compliance with local and global regulations.
With the company’s innovative approach, ManageEngine sets itself apart by managing its own data centers globally, unlike many competitors who rely on third-party providers. This strategic choice, Kumar explained, ensures better data security, privacy, and consistent pricing for clients. “We manage the hardware, software, and security ourselves, which gives us greater control and reliability,” Kumar added.
Looking to strengthen its local roots, ManageEngine has started recruiting IT professionals and plans to establish a local office. The company follows a “transnational localism” approach, operating from hub offices and developing smaller regional teams. This model enables ManageEngine to better understand and cater to unique regional demands, Kumar noted, “Our plan is to hire talent who will deliver localized, expert support.”
Through such initiatives, ManageEngine positions itself as a reliable IT partner, helping Filipino businesses enhance IT infrastructures, optimize cybersecurity, and realize their digital transformation goals.
