Angkas, the leading motorcycle ride-hailing platform, said it conducted a comprehensive training session for bikers in Lipa City, alongside a successful deployment and free rides initiative during the Barako Fest from March 14 to 16, 2024.

The company said it is conducting app testing from April 1 to 6 and is set to launch its full operations in Lipa City. The launch will include the operation of Angkas Padala, further enhancing the accessibility of efficient delivery services in the city.

Angkas said the training session reinforces its commitment to professionalizing the motorcycle industry and empowering local bikers with the necessary tools for financial independence.

Angkas took part in the Barako Fest by providing free rides to attendees to ensure safe and convenient transportation options for all participants. The initiative not only showcased Angkas’ dedication to serving communities but also highlighted the efficiency and reliability of motorcycle transportation, it said.

Angkas said the training session for Lipa bikers underscored the importance of professionalism and safety in the industry. As part of its inclusive and holistic approach, Angkas believes in recognizing the contributions of the informal sector and providing them with legitimate access to training and resources.
