Toyota Motor Philippines hosted Monday the world premier of the improved, full-model change Hiace in Manila as a primary market for the Toyota vans.
Toyota president Satoru Suzuki said the Philippines was selected as the first to launch the all-new Hiace among the company’s major markets because of the versatility of the vehicle
“We, at Toyota Motor Philippines, are honored to host the World Premiere of the All-New Toyota Hiace. For the first time, the world’s eyes are on the Philippines, to witness the unveiling of the Full Model Change Hiace, never before exhibited elsewhere. The Hiace model has a long and meaningful history with the Filipino. Since its introduction in 1994, the Hiace has been bringing people closer together by taking them to adventures and experiences, leading to wonderful memories that last a lifetime,” he said.
He added the debut of the All-New Hiace came at an opportune time for Toyota, which is celebrating the 17th consecutive Triple Crown victory of the company.
