BCDA bids out two Clark access roads

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority opened the bidding for the contract to build the first and second phases of two airport access roads leading to New Clark City with a combined approved budget of P5.3 billion.

Phase 2 or the Aranguren-Dapdap Segment covers a stretch of 8.8 kilometers while phase 3, or the Dapdap Calumpang segment, is about 5.7 kilometers.

A bidder according to the bidding procedures, can only submit one bid for one project or phase. 

A prospective bidder must have completed a project similar to the subject road with a contract amount of not less than 50 percent of the approved budget. 

Bids received in excess of the approved budget will be automatically rejected at the opening of the financial proposals.

The bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures as specified in the implementing rules and regulations of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), or the “Government Procurement Reform Act.”
