Globe Telecom Inc. on Tuesday said its broadband prices have dropped by more than 60 percent in the last four years, among the lowest in Southeast Asia.

“Investments in the network are done every year to improve internet experience at home. We use the latest technologies such as 4G/LTE and 5G to improve speed and quality of experience. We are also accelerating the deployment of fiber optic cables to provide a seamless experience for multiple internet users inside the home,” said Darius Delgado, head of Globe’s broadband business division.

“As we widen our footprint for broadband, we likewise make the services more affordable. We have a whole range of broadband offers suited to one’s budget and internet usage,” he said.

From as high as P26 per GB, the Globe At Home Postpaid LTE has gone down to P9 per GB over the last two years, or a 65.4-percent price decrease.

Globe at Home Prepaid WiFi customers, meanwhile, now pay P9 per GB only from as high as P23 in 2017; P15 in 2018; and P10 in 2019, or a decrease of 60.87 percent since 2017.
