TaskUs, a global provider of outsourced digital services and next-generation customer experience to fast-growing technology companies, bagged both the Outstanding Exporter Award and Outstanding Employer Award at the recently concluded Philippine Economic Zone Authority( PEZA) Excellence Awards.
“These awards are a testament to our commitment to generating and providing career opportunities to many Filipinos in the country, which has always remained a key market to TaskUs,” said TaskUs senior vice president for operations in Southeast Asia Dean Van Ormer.
Through the PEZA Excellence Awards, the agency recognizes outstanding Filipino employers and PEZA members who display excellence in their services and contribute to the improvement of Filipino laborers’ lives across the Philippines.
The Outstanding Exporter Award is given to PEZA members who accomplished outstanding performance in exports in terms of total export value, growth, and net-trade balance. Meanwhile, the Outstanding Employer Award is granted to employers that generated the most number of jobs, held high regard for the welfare of their workers, and maintained harmony between labor and management.
TaskUs is a business process management firm founded Bryce Maddock and Jaspar Weir in Cavite, Philippines in 2008. It has been a member of PEZA since 2015.
Apart from the PEZA recognitions, TaskUs has received several prestigious recognitions in 2022, including “Company of the Year” from the American Business Awards, “Best Leadership Teams” from Comparably, and “Achievement in Customer Satisfaction” from the International Business Awards.
The Everest Group also named TaskUs as the world’s fastest-growing business process service provider in its Top 50 report, noting the company’s quick response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which made way for continuous growth despite the current situation—all while putting its people’s welfare first.

The award giving body, PEZA, is the country’s top investment promotion agency (IPA) tasked to oversee operations of all economic zones in the country.
