Globe’s 5G service to cover travelers

Globe Telecom Inc. said Wednesday visitors from 39 countries can now enjoy its 5G mobile services when they arrive in the country.

Countries where Globe has inbound roaming partnerships include Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, US and Vietnam.

Globe said through its network upgrade and expansion, it enables tourists to experience 5G in major Philippine destinations. Its 5G network now covers 93 percent of the National Capital Region.

The service is also available in Rizal, Bulacan, Batangas, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Laguna, Oriental Mindoro, and Quezon in Luzon; Aklan, Cebu, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental in Visayas; and Bukidnon, Davao Del Sur, Misamis Oriental, South Cotabato and Zamboanga del Sur in Mindanao.
