Philippine Ambassador to the US Jose Manuel Romualdez urged Philippine businesses to seize opportunities in the US market while the US interests remained focused on the Indo-Pacific and the ASEAN region.

“We need to take advantage of this opportunity and put more investments not only in the region, but in the Philippines,” Romualdez said at the first Global Biz Investment Forum in 2022 organized by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority Tuesday.

“The Philippines is ready to do more business with the United States. Our celebration of 75 years of Philippine-US relations this year culminates today’s Global Biz with PEZA as the most opportune time for the Philippines and the United States to engage in more economic partnerships with the participation of both our countries’ dynamic business community,” he said.

PEZA continues to engage foreign trade partners on updates on Philippine economy and how the agency can help US investors asses the local investment scene in the regular investment forum Global Biz with PEZA.
