AirAsia Philippines said it tapped GCash to offer cashless payment options to passengers after the government allowed leisure travel to domestic destinations.

“We look forward to strengthening this partnership with GCash as Airasia continues to embark on its journey to becoming more than just an airline,” he said.
The airline said that exciting promo offers and discounts would be available exclusively to GCash’s over 40 million users.
“At GCash, we have pioneered a number of digital payment innovations to help Filipinos during the pandemic, and this partnership with Airasia is a continuation of its thrust to provide users with safe and convenient payment solutions,” said GCash president and chief executive Martha Sazon.
