Megaworld, Megawide in terminal partnership

Megaworld Corp. through its transport terminals arm Township Transport Terminal Inc. (T31) has partnered with Megawide Corp’.s Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) for the interconnection of their transport hub.

The agreement between Megaworld and MWM Terminals Inc., the operator of PITX, is seen to establish seamless connectivity between Megaworld’s Southwood City Transport Hub in Biñan, Laguna with the PITX, the country’s first landport in Paranaque City.

The partnership is also envisioned to improve the delivery of terminal services to PUV operators and benefit thousands of commuters heading south from Metro Manila and vice versa.

Megaworld chief strategic officer Kevin Tan stressed the need for the government and private firms to work together with the welfare of the public in mind.

He sees the pandemic as an opportunity for Megaworld to study and reinvent its transportation hubs, with safety and health of the public at its top priority.
