Philippine Airlines is offering a special promotion for domestic and international flights to entice more travelers to fly in the new normal.

It said for base fares as low as P388 for domestic destinations and $99 for international destinations, passengers could book their flights for travels from Aug. 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021.

It said whether passengers would be flying home to their loved ones, going on essential business travels, or planning for long-overdue vacation, passengers could avail of special fares from July 13 to 19, 2020.

“To ensure the safety and protection of all passengers, PAL is strictly implementing an all-out ‘Fly Safe’ set of new normal safety measures and practices—dubbed ‘New Normal, Same Heart’—that adopts international health and safety protocols while keeping the signature heartfelt service that the airline is known for,” PAL said.

The airline encouraged passengers to check in on-line and arrive early at the airport to allocate extra time for new safety procedures.

They are also required to wear face masks or facial coverings at all times—at the airport and throughout the flight—and observe physical distance whenever queueing in line or while seated at waiting areas at the airport.

The flag carrier partially resumed regular commercial flights to various domestic destinations and key international cities in the US, Asia, Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Canada.

It has also been operating special missions to repatriate stranded Filipinos and foreign nationals to and from different parts of the world and all-cargo services to transport essential supplies across the Philippines and overseas.

Meanwhile, budget carrier Cebu Pacific said it resumed passenger flights to and from Dubai beginning July 12.

Passengers traveling to Dubai are required to obtain travel and health insurance coverage before arrival, as required by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. Guests without valid health insurance may be denied check-in or boarding.

Government quarantine and travel regulations will apply for all passengers flying between Manila and Dubai.

Passengers confirmed on these flights are urged to follow contact flights guidelines, including the wearing of masks, online check-in, being at the airport three hours before the flight, counter closure of 1 hour before flight, maximum one hand-carry per person, contactless boarding procedures and physical distancing.

Cebu Pacific said other international flights remained cancelled from July 11 to 31.
